Metan Development Group is currently looking for an experienced Senior Ad Sales Executive with the ability to market and develop advertising business portfolio within China. The position will be based in our Beijing/Shanghai office

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: (1) working with the corporate and sales management team in determining the direction of the sales organization to best position it to meet and preferably exceed your sales targets, (2) provide dynamic leadership in the advertising community to further grow the revenue stream of our syndicated TV programs (3) provide ongoing and needed feedback to the sales management team about your success path and your personal performance in meeting the your sales objectives

Specifically, the Senior Ad Sales Executive will have the following attributes:

* High level sales organization, leadership and consultative selling skills.

* Capable of high-level, immediate and on-going impact to accelerate sales performance.

* Successful and broad general skills to drive sales of varying and multiple products and services in wide ranging and rapidly changing product, services and sales environments

* Maintaining a highly organized, detail-oriented, fully informed grasp of the area of the sales organization being managed at all times.

* Develop and execute tactical sales plans with high success, exceeding quotas and account objectives.

* Highly computer literate and uses sales database tracking, reporting and management programs and related electronic systems and tools.

* Ability to create and deliver clear and compelling presentations to top level management within the company and at customer venues, in both MANDARIN and ENGLISH.

* Ability to deal effectively with complex business problems, products, services, markets and legal situations in CHINA.

Goals and Responsibilities:

* Create and execute revenue strategies, account planning, and business processes for key accounts.

* Perform against sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plans and sales management.

* Fully integrate sales activities for this sales area into Metan organization by working collaboratively with teams in US and China.

* Manage the follow up procedures for leads generated by trade shows, mailings, and advertisements in this sales area.

* Analyze the effectiveness of different methods of (1) effective lead generation with marketing and (2) sales follow up (i.e. letters, phone calls, proposals) and continuously improve upon them.

* Develop and maintain an adequate database of information for prospecting, lead generation, and lead follow up.

* Meet with top management on a regular basis to review the structure and efficiency of this area of sales and provide regular metric-based performance reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* A Bachelor/Master degree received from a US/UK university with a strong academic record

* At least five years of progressive work experience, including TV, in advertising sales, marketing, or consulting, with at least five years working with or at global ad agencies.

* Proven track record of structuring and closing deals

* In-depth knowledge of traditional and digital media and its competitive landscape.

* Bilingual in both English and Mandarin
