Metan seeks Asian Fusion
LA-based Metan Development Group has teamed up with US prodco Fusion TV to bring action sports and adventure travel programmes to China.
As part of the exclusive agreement, the companies will develop and distribute Fusion TV-branded online, mobile, IPTV and television channels in the region, including in Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia and Taiwan.
Metan will be the sales agent for Portland, Oregon-based Fusion’s content, which includes 750 hours of longform programming and more than 3,000 shorts.
Neil Strum, executive VP of Metan, said the deal would satisfy “a growing interest in male-skewed and sports and adventure-related content in Asia.”
