HISTORY
Founded in Fall 2008, Metan Development Group is a company in its infancy but with projections of vast growth in the coming years. The company was built from the ground up, sparked by a unique idea that President and CEO, Larry Namer, had during a speaking engagement in early 2008 to young television executives about creating innovative television programming in China.
Larry recognized the possibilities of the rapidly expanding Chinese media industry, and also the flourishing opportunities that lie ahead in this largely undeveloped front. Together with News Corporation veteran Martin Pompadur, and AmeriLink Group, Inc. co-founder Jean Zhang, Metan Development Group was formed. Soon after, Metan launched its flagship television show, Hello! Hollywood in September 2009.

Metan Development Group’s mission is to be the leading media conduit between China and the rest of the world. Through our cross-platform, multi-media and innovative programming efforts, we bring quality content into China from around the world in conjunction with helping educate people around the world by bringing quality programming out of China and into the global marketplace.
