John graduated from UCSD with a BA in Visual Arts Media in 2005. After
graduating, John signed on as lead cameraman and editor for IAVC, a
leading Mandarin based cable channel. There, he honed his technical
skills from an Asian American perspective, working to balance the
unique aesthetics and philosophies that comprise his cultural
background. After leaving IAVC, John began taking on freelance
assignments with various broadcast- and commercial-based projects for
companies as varied as KSCI-TV and TBWA/Chiat/Day.
